Playbreak Pavilion Takeover
East Point Pavilion

Former frontman of British Rejects (2014-2016) and The Only Route (2017-2019), Ryan Redwood has been one of the cornerstones of his local scene on the East Coast of England for nearly a decade, launching his solo career after TOR disbanded.

Both with his former band and solo, armed with a microphone and an acoustic guitar, Redwood has played shows across the country, including shows in Manchester, Sheffield, Northampton, Nottingham, Swansea, Norwich, London and Whitchurch, as well as stand-out performances in his closest City of Norwich supporting Corella at a sold out Waterfront Studio and in his hometown of Lowestoft at The Seagull Theatre.

Redwood takes inspiration from 90s Brit-pop greats like Oasis and post brit-pop indie acts such as Arctic Monkeys, Blossoms and Courteeners. He has received positive reviews for the singles he has released so far from music blogs Click Roll Boom (East Anglia) and Eclectic Music Lover (California), which praised Redwoods lyrics, which cover the drudgery of life in a small town and the power of love to get you through, and his ear for a catchy tune.

Ryan was selected to take part in the Pavilion Takeover through Playbreak, a new programme that spotlights the incredible creative talent in Lowestoft.
