BSL Interpreted

An audio-visual presentation taking you across the Norfolk countryside – the Broads, salt marshes and beaches – to uncover why the seaside smells the way it does, and what is really behind that smell.

UEA Lecturer Dr Beth Williams will guide you through films of the various landscapes and invite you to study the samples provided as you do. This talk explains the role that tiny organisms play in coastal habitats, and how the smell of the seaside is more important for the environment than you might think – from the formation of clouds to growing crops.

This presentation is most suitable for those aged 7+
