Sunlight Stage
Formed in London in 2011 by a small group of passionate ex-pats from Salento, Amaraterra has evolved into a multi-national ensemble influenced by the multi-cultural London scene and presenting the joyful and energetic “pizzica” and roots music of Southern Italy.
Amaraterra’s songs speak of love, happiness, longing and passion in an unsophisticated way that breaks through cultural barriers. The energetic and joyful music invites the audience into dance and togetherness.
