First Light Walk is St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice’s newest sponsored walk from Kessingland along the beach and back to First Light Festival and South Pier Lowestoft.

 

As part of the First Light Festival, walkers will start their five mile walk to tie in with the first light of the sun at 4.30am! The sunrise walk will be raising money for St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice, who provide care and support for patients and families living with life-limiting illness.

 

The walk is for men, women and children 10 years and over.

 

Registration will be at South Pier, Lowestoft and then St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice will provide coach transfers to the starting point in Kessingland. Entrants must be 10 years of age or over on day of registration.

Any walker under the age of 18 must include the name and authorisation of the parent/guardian who will be accompanying them on the walk on their registration form.

 

Event timeline:

Registration opens 4am
Sunrise occurs 4.30am
First coach leaves for Kessingland 5am
First walk begins 5.30am
Last coach leaves 7am
Last walk begins 7.30am
Walkers arrive back between 7.30am and 9.30am
