This is what klezmer is all about and the reason why this music is so irresistible. Klezmerized!, a four piece band from Norwich, has fallen in love with the happy and the sad, the sombre and the mad and all the other colours this music has to offer.
Klezmer is originally Jewish wedding music from eastern Europe and while their repertoire is firmly rooted in this tradition, they particularly enjoy writing their own arrangements and giving the music a Klezmerized! twist also influenced by Balkan, Gyspy and middle Eastern sounds.
