The Beach Hut – an audio ghost story

Saturday 22 June & Sunday 23 June

Eastern Edge Beach Hut

“What happened here, on this beach.
Well it was… unnatural… I don’t believe in all that.”

Welcome to the beach hut. Gather close – if you dare?-for a contemporary, audio ghoststory set on Lowestoft Beach.
A HighTide production. The Beach Hut is written by Nicola Werenowska and performed by Elizabeth Crarer, directed by Elayce Ismail, with sound design by Richard Hammarton, and dramaturgy by Clare Slater.

The original tour was produced in association with Shakespeare’s Globe, Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds and Harlow Playhouse.

The production was supported by public funding using the National Lottery through Arts Council England, and by East Suffolk Council. It was also kindly sponsored by Adnams Ghost Ship. HighTide’s Principal Partner is Lansons | Team Farner.

If you enjoyed The Beach Hut, you can book for More… Ghost Stories by Candlelight, a new production that will be touring across the East of England and London, this October and November. Visit hightide.org.uk to find out more.
