Part of First Light Festival’s Opening Parade Workshops
Join in these free workshops and create sea spirit props to shake, wave and swirl at First Light’s Opening Parade in June. Workshops are free with all materials provided.

ABOUT THE OPENING PARADE
To kick of this year’s First Light Festival, we’re creating a big Opening Parade which will come through the town, and everyone in Lowestoft is invited to be involved!
Made up of individuals, schools, community groups and local businesses, and featuring large-scale puppets, it’s a great chance to join in the fun and celebrate Lowestoft during the Festival.
Our Opening Parade is part of Hi! Street Fest, a nation-wide project from Emergency Exit Arts in partnership with Historic England that celebrates high streets up and down the country.
