HighTide is partnering with Access Community Trust to share local community stories; featuring experiences of living in and around Lowestoft and the Suffolk Coast. HighTide will deliver a series of storytelling and writing workshops and work created through this will also be shared as part of First Light Festival’s 2021 programme, First Light presents Longest Days of Summer.
This work is made possible through the generous support of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
HighTide’s mission is to develop productions and programmes that engage diverse communities with new theatre writing in the East of England. They work in partnership locally and nationally year-round to co-produce and tour their productions and celebrate their home; and they are committed to innovation and inclusion to widen engagement and raise the quality of their work. Their vision is of an East of England where everyone has the opportunity to share or encounter their story without prejudice and with joy.
This small, passionate company is a force for good. (Sir Nicholas Hytner, HighTide Patron)
