“A sea mist lit by the rising sun provides beautiful pastel shades around the ‘Lightening Trees’ at the reserve; it seems like a still image but the occasional bird flying through the frame and the subtle changes of image belie this. The dawn chorus in full surround sound provides a contrast to the stillness as the birds proclaim their territory with a wild cacophony of sounds.” (Mike Challis)
