Fiery Sun Sculpture with Andy Greenacre
You might remember local artist Andy Greenacre from last year’s First Light Festival, where he showcased his inventive artwork Sandscape, a durational sand sculpture made from the forms of waste packaging. Join Andy as he teaches us how to make modelling dough out of goods you may have in the kitchen, and how to transform your dough into a quirky fiery sun model!
To join in, you will need:
- – Water
- – Cornflour
- – Sodium bicarbonate baking soda
- – Modelling tools – or a pencil and fork
- – A paintbrush
- – Old scissors
- – Water-based paints
- – Card
- – Old/new nails, floristry wire, screws etc to add a bit of flair!
- – A hook and extra strength glue to hang your model on the wall
