Flying Icarus Kite Workshop with Paul Gionis
Join toy-maker and award winning D&T teacher Paul Gionis of Timebubble Toys to make a flying sun and Icarus figure.
In Greek mythology, Icarus and his inventor father Daedalus attempt to escape from Crete by means of wings constructed from feathers and wax. Join Paul and learn how to make a parade kite out of cardboard and a fishing line inspired by this Greek myth! Timebubble Toys are creators of cartoon style wooden toy kits and T-shirts which tread lightly on the environment.
