Windsock Kite Workshop with Holly Scholfield

Holly Scholfield is a local painter and printmaker working with pattern and textiles, as well as being a workshop facilitator. Join Holly as she creates a quirky decorative windsock! You will need:

  • – Measuring tape / extra long ruler
  • – Scissors
  • – Pencil
  • – Sponges
  • – Ink or acrylic paint
  • – Garden wire and pliers
  • – A wooden of dowels
  • – Scrap paper or newspaper
  • – Very strong gaffa tape


If making the windsock using ripstop, you will also need 2 lengths of ripstop, a sewing machine, thread, pins, and 4 small lengths of fabric (roughly 10cm in length).

If making the windsock using a bin liner, you will also need a bin liner and some sticky tape.
