Baden

14:45-15:30 Gardens Stage
Saturday 18 June
Once described as “the hardest working musician in Waveney” by the official-unofficial town criar of Beccles, Baden says he “writes songs from the heart, for the heart”. He cites contemporary artists such as Bon Iver, Damien Rice, Passenger and Spice Girls as major influences; along with the classic songwriters Lennon/McCartney and Bob Dylan, who he grew up listening to with his grandad. His vocal style is heavily influenced by his time in his school choir and his local amateur musical theatre group.
Baden developed his musical style on the streets busking in his local area; this experience has helped contribute to his raw, down-to-earth sound and the hard work he’s put into his craft has gained him a strong local fanbase.
