Brave Art: One World Workshop

12:00-18:00 Cosmic Pirates
Across the Weekend

Suffolk Artlink will be offering participants the opportunity to come and design their own unique painted pebble using inspiration from our Brave Art theme – One World. The pebbles will be arranged on the beach in an Indian style Rangoli pattern over the weekend sharing words and images that unite us in One World. Come and meet some of our lovely Brave Art students and volunteer team.

About The Brave Art Project

The Brave Art project is an arts training course for people with learning disabilities. Brave Art offers students the chance to enjoy exploring a variety of art forms whilst developing creative and life skills.

Students work alongside professional artists during three 12-week terms each year. Through artist-led sessions, trips to cultural venues and public celebrations of their work, students learn new skills and gain confidence, friendships and wellbeing.

About Suffolk Artlink

Suffolk Artlink is a participatory arts charity; we actively encourage and support people to take part in creative activities.

To do this, we develop and deliver inclusive arts programmes, often working in partnership with care, education, and voluntary and community organisations.

We work with professional artists to devise all manner of creative projects, from exploring the world in textiles and clay to producing cyanotypes of precious china and composing sea shanties and lullabies.
