Grace Wells

08:00-08:25 New Dawn
Sunday 19 June
Grace Wells is a 16 year old singer songwriter, living in the Suffolk countryside. She started writing during the second lockdown and, after playing an open mic event at Bury St Edmunds, has started to play gigs and festivals around Suffolk.
Grace’s music takes inspiration from bands and artists such as Pheobe Bridgers, Aurora, Bon Iver, David Bowie, Elliott Smith and Hozier, with soft vocals and layered harmonies supported by warm and deep guitar.
Her debut EP was release on the 21st of April 2022 and was recorded, mixed and produced at home through garageband, on a tiny computer sat at the top of her stairs.
Grace has recently won the Bury Fringe Festival songwriting competition and will be supporting pop-duo Amethysts, at the Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds on the 3rd of June, just the first in a number of live events lined up over the next few months
