From DR Congo, brought up in Buenos Aires and immersed in London’s vibrant scene, Juanita Euka’s influences range from soukous, son and soul to hip hop and jazz. She has fronted top UK Afro-Latin bands London Afrobeat Collective, Animanz and Wara and is also the niece of Congolese rumba legend Franco. After appearing on the BBC’s Killing Eve, she has now completed her debut solo album for Strut Records.
Her debut album is called ‘Mabanzo’ which means thoughts in Lingala, coming out on the 25th of March under strut Records. produced & arranged by Greg Sanders.
