Their repertoire encompasses authentic covers and newly composed originals, paying deep homage to the seafaring heritage of Lowestoft and maritime cultures globally.

Recognising shanties as a culturally protected art form, our ensemble explores material spanning the British Isles, Ireland, the Americas, and beyond, drawing from the vast musical history of the oceans. They present powerful performances utilising both a cappella and instrumentally accompanied arrangements, and we actively collaborate with local schools and community groups, ensuring this vital tradition is preserved and robustly presented to future generations.
