Suffolk Community Libraries are in the teepee celebrating the National Year of Reading at First Light Festival by bringing stories to the sand. Throughout the weekend, families can enjoy a programme inspired by the moon and creatures with a lunar connection.
There’s rocket making and a Space Kitchen with The Nature Way.
Monkey Business will be on the high wire launching children into space!
The Marquee will have activities with Marina Theatre, National Literacy Trust, Space East, Suffolk Artlink, and more.
Access
The Cosmic Pirates Teepee and Workshops are located on the beach away from trackway and on the sand, so are not wheelchair accessible.
BSL interpretation will be available for some events.
