SHELLS & BELLS

Rooted in his Shellectronica project – where all sounds begin with shells and are transformed through live electronics – this year’s set brings shells into dialogue with the haunting resonance of ship’s bells, blending two maritime sound worlds into something immersive, elemental and alive to the moment of sunrise. As the light shifts over the beach, the performance draws on ideas of sea, signal, ritual and listening, creating a live soundscape that feels both ancient and newly made.
