On 11 & 12 October, Lowestoft transformed into a hub of gaming culture as Game Lowestoft took over The Battery of Ideas and East Point for a weekend of tournaments, talks, role-playing adventures, and free play zones. Presented by First Light Festival and supported by partners across the creative industries, the FREE ENTRY, 2-day event showcased the very best of digital and tabletop gaming while celebrating the region’s growing place in the UK’s gaming and creative economy.

Whether you’re a seasoned player, a casual gamer, or simply curious about the culture, Game Lowestoft promised a welcoming and action-packed line-up.

Funded by Lowestoft and Northern Parishes Community Partnership and East Suffolk Council Enabling Communities Fund. 

Partners include; Access Creative College, The Fort, Game Lowestoft, Skyward Fire, University of East Anglia, YGam.

Saturday 11 October, The Battery, 119 London Road North, Lowestoft, 12:00 – 20:00

Table-Top Roleplaying and Gameplay – Step into a World of Adventure

  • ‘The Halfway Out’ the smallest escape room in the UK (probably). Giving you the chance to experience a lock-in like no other. A 20 minute escape experience for 2 people filled with puzzles and intrigue. Whether you are a seasoned pro or just trying an escape room for the first time this is the perfect place for you. Quick and fun but with some tricky challenges to face.. can you be the fastest team to find the key and unlock The Halfway Out?
