Kick off your shoes and join our partners DanceEast for a weekend of moving, grooving and brilliant dance to watch and be part of on Lowestoft beach. Join them in the Moon Dance Tent for another exciting year, fizzing with a fantastic line up of dance. Join in with your family and friends, dance with strangers and neighbours to discover your groove.
DanceEast’s programme is suitable for all ages and open to everyone to take part in. It isn’t about getting it perfectly correct, and no dance experience is necessary to take part, just come with a smile! Immerse yourself in trying out a new dance style, workshops throughout the weekend include Latin dancing with Ipswich School of Dancing, Salsa with Cubanda and folk dance with Klezmerized Klezmer Kelidh.
There will be the chance for all ages to enjoy disco dancing throughout the weekend, dad dancing and neon leg warmers welcome! Baby Loves to Boogie returns, perfect for you and your toddler to enjoy moving and having fun together. For families and adults, we have a Boogie Booth led by Jodie Cole (who previously has organised a disco that broke the Guinness World Record for the greatest number of disco dancers dancing at the same time!)
Big ones and little ones alike can join us for a brand-new Happy Feet experience, inspired by the animated musical comedy film. Who doesn’t love dancing to singing penguins after all!

MoonDance is accessible to wheelchair uses via a ramp onto trackway from Jubilee Parade. There is solid wooden floor inside, and seating is available.
