Volunteers for First Light Festival must be 16+. If you are under 18 we will require parental permission. Some of the roles we have are only for over 18’s
Do you have any particular needs that we should be made aware of.
Roles are allocated on experience and availability, however due to the terrain of the festival site there may be some roles or locations which are not suitable for everyone. We Please let us know of any access requirements you may have in order for us to support you effectively in your application, we can discuss access requirements with volunteers on a case by case basis and will make reasonable adjustments where we can.
Do you have any unspent convictions?(Required)
Please tick “Yes” if you have any convictions that are not yet spent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The term ‘convictions’ is used to refer to any sentence or disposal issued by a court. If all your convictions are spent, you can tick “No”. If you tick ‘yes’ we may need to discuss this with you further depending on the role you are applying for.

PLEASE CHECK THE VOLUNTEER ROLES DETAILS BEFORE CHOOSING (linked above). Whichever roles you wish to apply for, remember that working with people can be unpredictable and you may end up doing something that you didn’t quite expect, but may enjoy all the same.

Can you help us prior to First Light Festival?
We are looking for help from April with admin in our office and distributing programmes around Lowestoft and the local area. Times and dates are flexible and can be agreed subject to your availability.
